The people behind the magic of Wheels for Jacquie Foundation. Cari Kelly, Jacquie Kelley, and Greg Smith work to grant one accessible vehicle per year to an individual or family who cannot afford to fund the vehicle on their own.

CARI KELLEY

Cari is one of the founding members of the Wheels for Jacquie Foundation. She has been working in the non-profit sector for over 30 years in a number of different roles and finds great joy in helping others and connecting donors to what they are passionate about. She is proud to be a mom to Calvin and Jacquie and she lives in Grand Isle, Vermont with her partner, Greg. She also owns Cari Me Away Travels (www.carimeawaytravels.com) and donates 15% of the profits to the Foundation. Cari likes to play guitar, cook, knit, and take walks in nature.

JACQUIE KELLEY

Executive Board Member

Jacquie is currently living in Leeds, England with her boyfriend and service dog, Moose. In May of 2020, she graduated from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. In the fall of 2021, she traveled to Leeds, England to earn a Master's Degree in Disability Studies at the University of Leeds. Outside of politics and advocacy, Jacquie is passionate about music, cooking, and marketing. Jacquie is the organization's website designer. Prior to designing the Wheels for Jacquie website, she worked as the website designer and publicity coordinator for the Vermont Builders and Remodelers Association.

GREG SMITH

Executive Board Member

Greg is the Network Administrator for the Grand Isle Supervisory Union and helps Cari and Jacquie with technology and challenges that may arise. His expertise is always welcome when we struggle with getting a concept to the final design. Greg lives in Grand Isle, Vermont with Cari and has three adult children. He enjoys fixing computers, spending time with family, and working on projects around the house.
